Enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year, the T.J. Evans Recreational Trail is not just a bike trail. It provides opportunities for biking, walking, rollerblading, nature observation and more. Traversing over 36 miles of Licking County landscape, the T.J. Evans Recreational Trail System provides visitors with a wide variety of scenery. The Licking Park District manages all recreational trails on behalf of the Licking County Commissioners, except those within corporation limits and Blackhand Gorge.

Directions

Heading East on 161 you would exit at Rt. 661 (S. Main Street) and turn left (go North) toward Denison University. Just past Old River Road there is a gas station on the right. Turn right at the bike path just after you pass the gas station and there is parking. You will see big silver silos. If you cross the bike path, you went a little too far!

If you are coming via Broad St., you will need to make your way to S. Main St. then follow the directions above.

Trail Parking in Johnstown
From I-270 take the Dublin-Granville (New Albany) exit east. Exit at Rt. 62 and take it to Johnstown. In the center of Johnstown is Rt. 37, turn right. Take Rt. 37 to Jersey St., turn left. Follow Jersey St. into the parking lot and the start of the trail.
